K Design Group Civil Ltd islooking for a Graduate Civil Engineer to join our Development Engineering teamin Auckland. We are looking for an individual with engineering qualificationthat is looking to take the next step in their career. Your analytical andreport writing skills, client liaison and customer skills, attention to detailand team spirit will help establish you as a key member in the team. You willbe exposed to training and mentoring to provide you with the skills to succeedat the role. JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
Preparing civil engineeringdesigns, plans and documentation, including roading, drainage, 3 waters,earthworks, underground services and civil structures.
- Investigation and analysis of technical problems and presentation of results.
- Taking ownership for the delivery of projects on time, within budget and to an appropriate standard.
- Work co-operatively with team members in-house, nationally and internationally.
- Sharing knowledge and expertise across all disciplines.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Bachelor of Engineering (Civil)
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience as a Civil Engineer in an Engineering Consultancy in NZ
- Land development experience highly regarded
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Good understanding of AutoCAD and a broader understanding of all the Autodesk suite of tools.
- Experience with 12d and Civil 3d software would be preferable.
