如果有餐馆可以给你出厨师的 Offer, 而你有西厨 Level 5 的学历, 是可以考虑申请pr了。
技术移民审核的是你的工作, 学历, 年龄, 英文
当中相关工作经验可以加分 (至少1年开始算)
如果有乎合条件的配偶, 而他/她有 Level 4 以上的学历, 也可以加分

简单而言, 如果你有100分, 加上 JOB OFFER 都可以考虑申请了。
而有140 分的话, 基本上移民局抽到你的意向书後, 如没有特别问题都会向你提出邀请

所以你可以先算算自己拿到的分数, 再决定要不要拿额外的工作经验加分。

另外, 技术移民有一定的英文要求, 就是雅思6.5分:
Principal applicants under the Skilled Migrant Category meet the minimum standard of English if they provide a Test Report Form (no more than 2 years old at the time the application is lodged) from the International English Language Testing System (IELTS), showing they achieved an overall band score of at least 6.5 in the IELTS General or Academic Module

如果没有雅思6.5分, 申请人可以提供另外的证明, 如 bachelor degree (LEVEL 7) 或以上的新西兰学历:
(if that qualification was gained in New Zealand) the qualification had a minimum completion time of at least two years and is at least a bachelor degree or it is a post-graduate qualification and the applicant has an undergraduate qualification that qualifies for points

如果没有Level 7的学历, 可以考虑提供文件证明你在厨师的职位上做了一年或以上
they have current skilled employment in New Zealand for a period of at least 12 months that qualifies for points

当然如果你有其他的英文背景你也可以说服移民局有关英文的要求。
