Countdown towards Armistice

    Final preparations are underway ahead of Armistice In Cambridge 2014 this weekend.  there would be a number of attractions over the weekend for everyone。The timetable includes events at both at Mighty River Domain at Lake Karapiro, and in Cambridge.  

Among the domain attractions will be re-enactments using the $156,000 replica World War I trench。There will also be a World War I-era Bristol Scout biplane, and a Royal New Zealand Navy Sea Sprite helicopter. The programme will include a re-enactment of the Battle of Monte Cassino.  

A cadet parade to mark the 150th anniversary of the New Zealand Cadet Forces is planned in Cambridge from 9.30am on Sunday, followed by a civic service on the plaza outside Cambridge Town Hall at 10.15am. Some of the children spotted at Sunday's civic service will be given a free ticket to get into Karapiro Domain.   

Armistice In Cambridge 2014 will be held this Saturday and Sunday, November 8-9, The programme at the domain will run from 10am-3pm daily. Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under.

一年一度的剑桥Armistice进入到了最后的准备阶段了。
活动有两个地方，在Mighty River Domain 这个地方，周六周日上午十点到下午三点两天里， 有re enactments 第一次世界大战的战壕， 还有一战的双翼飞机和皇家新西兰海军的直升机， 还有re enactment of 蒙特卡西诺战役。
在Cambridge 这个小镇这个活动地点，将会有 cadet parade 来庆祝150周年的new zealand cadet forces 在周日早上九点半的时候准时开始。之后会有一个 civic service on the plaza 就在 Cambridge Town Hall 外面 上午10点十五分左右开始。参加这个civic service 活动的小孩将会免费得到一张通往Karapiro Domain 的入场券。
