Quantity Surveyor / Estimator ( Construction)

·        Location – Epsom, Auckland

·        Full Time - Monday to Friday 9:00AM – 17:00PM

·        $80,000 - $85,000  per year

Key responsibilities:

• Review     and negotiation of subcontract terms
• Sub-contractor     agreements & management
• Variations     & budget preparation
• Tender     analysis
• Proven     experience in quantity surveying, including cost estimation and pricing.
• Strong     communication and client management skills.
• Contracts     management
• Cost     control and reporting
• Liaise     with subcontractors, project managers, clients
• Analysis     of tenders, prepare recommendation for approval
• Review     work procedures before work commences (compliance)
• Establish     and maintain project control registers
• Proposal     preparation, job delivery, work planning and financial management tasks
• Prepare     cost planning, procurement and post contract
  

To be successful you will have:

• Minimum     4 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry,     with a proven track record of delivering cost benefits
• Bachelor     degree or relevant qualification
• Strong     Documentation handling skills
• Strong     written and verbal communication skills in English
• Review     RC, Pre- BC Plan by yourself
• Relevant     qualifications
• Develop     Project specifications
• Strong     relationship building skills and ability to work closely with key subcontractors     and suppliers.
• Highly     motivated with the ability to work autonomously but values being part of a     team
• Outstanding     communication skills and attention to details.
