We are on the hunt for an outstanding Sales Merchandiser to join our high energy, passionate Fresh Produce sales team.  You'll be based in Auckland, reporting to the Fresh Produce Sales Manager.  Your role will see you visiting our key supermarkets & health food stores to grow and increase sales of our Ceres Organics products.  You'll be doing this through merchandising of fresh produce in store, building strong relationships with our retail customers, and following up new business opportunities and leads as we look to continue to grow in the market.

About the opportunity

In this role you will take care of Sales Merchandising within the produce department. Some of the tasks this role involves are merchandising of the Ceres product range in-stores to ensure product bays, fridges and shelves are stocked appropriately. Preparing weekly sales reports for your territory and raising any issues or concerns along with building strong relationships with produce buyers and existing customers.

To be considered for the role you will need to have your own warrant and rego'd vehicle and a current full NZ drivers' licence for travelling to stores, which the company will compensate through a mileage payment. Ideally have previous experience in a similar merchandising or sales administration role.  You will have demonstrated experience in selling, confidence to talk with buyers and work autonomously with a passion for achieving excellent results.  Your high energy and enthusiasm for our organic product range will see you be able to seek out new business opportunities and close deals.  You will have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and pick up the way we do things quickly.  You take pride in your organisational skills and can communicate effectively over email.

• 6 Months Fixed Term - Part time
• 25 hours per week Thursday - Monday
• Auckland based.
