About You
Are you a seasoned HR professional with a passion for people and a deep understanding of HR practices in New Zealand? Are you a strong relationship builder with the ability to bridge culture and collaborate effectively at all levels across the organisation? Are you fluent in both English and Chinese (ability to listen and speak in Chinese at least)? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a HR Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
-Performance and KPI: developing and implementing performance management system, including setting KPIs and conducting performance review
-ER: building and maintaining a positive ER environment; advising managers on ER matters
-End to end recruitment: managing the entire recruitment process
-Engagement and team building: developing strategies to enhance employee engagement and facilitate team building activities
-Company policy: managing company policies, ensuring compliance and handling disciplinary matters when necessary
-Liaison with HQ in China: Effectively communicating with our HQ in China, including the senior managers and wider HR team in China
Requirements:
-A minimum of 4 to 5 years HR experience gained in NZ, preferred in the dairy, food or pharmaceutical industry
-Solid understanding of the NZ employment laws and regulations
-Proficiency in English plus ability to speak and listen in Chinese
-Strong business acumen and ability to execute strategies and plans
-Exceptional relationship-building skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams
-Empathetic, caring, and attentive to employee needs
