For your information, houses in good public school zones in Melbourne / Sydney are more expensive than in Auckland also, private schools fees are more expensive than in NZ.
If you want your child/son/daughter to get into a good Australia University, better get him/her to have "very good grades" from IB / Cambridge, and probably NCEA might not be "competitive enough" to get into a good university or competitive courses.
