ICT Technical Support Wanted!! An exciting opportunity to join a high performing team of dynamic, results-focused people passionate about making a difference in the telecommunication industry.
TelnetNZ is a well-established local telecommunication company offering customized solutions and services to some specific targeted markets based on cutting edge technology and advanced systems. We are now looking for an ICT technical support who's willing to join our high-performing technical team and make some real differences.
Key abilities and skills needed for the position:
- Network Routing: BGP, IS-IS, OSPF
- Switching: Port-Channel, STP, MC-LAG
- AAA: RADIUS
- VPN: L2tp, GRE, PPP, IPSec
- VOIP: SIP, Asterisk, 3CX
- Wireless System knowledge: Ruckus, Cisco
- Experience with using a CLI to monitor and configure network equipment.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis to resolve complex technical issues and identifies that corrective actions required for future benefit.
Other abilities required:
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Love learning and applying new technologies
- Not afraid to approach and ask questions
- Ability to perform well under fast-paced and multi-task work environment
- Problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese
- Honest, reliable and punctual
Qualifying candidates will need to have:
- Relevant qualification in IT/System Engineering
- Experience in maintaining and troubleshooting issues with firewalls, servers and networks is preferred
- 1 year or more related working experience is preferred but not required. Training can be provided for new starters.
- New Zealand driver’s full licence
- Chinese speaker
- Must hold a valid Work Visa or Resident Visa
