去年十月份的时候，房客借我的车外出违章了，他回来并没有告诉我这情况。因为我平时也很少用车，在这期间我把车转让给他了，并将注册人也转为他名字。我近期出差回来后才收到那个违章罚单，但借我车的那房客已回国了。请问AT是按车牌号码还是按注册车辆姓名，地址追究责任？会我有何影响？谢谢

AT是按照车牌号码搜寻车辆注册者的姓名，地址，然后寄罚单。
追求责任？没有什么责任，付罚款就对了。
你如果认为这个罚单不应由你来付，写信申诉，但估计没啥用处。
有何影响？你有个罚单没付，就这个影响，早付，晚付，除非你不呆在这儿了，不然早晚要付。

没什么责任，你去交罚款就好了，不交罚金很高

如果他借你车违章了，车主还是你，那你得付罚款，能不能向你的租客收回，那是你的事……对 AT 来说，车主就是你……该付的你还得付， AT 才不会管开车的到底是谁……

如果他借你车违章时，你已将车售给他了，那你可以申诉，告诉 AT 违章者已离开你家，离开新西兰了……这很合情合理合法……

我以前还一直以为是开车的人负责那个罚单。但是需要申诉，过程很麻烦。所以不如直接支付了罚单。。。。

找不到开车的人，就找车主……。

可以appeal和explain....不過估計沒什麼用

其实吧，不能一概而论。违章的情况如果是被自动摄像机拍到的，那就是车辆的注册人负责罚款，但如果是被警察抓到现行，那就驾车的人受罚。

只要你在nzta上过户时间早于罚单时间就不用理，逾期也是他的是对你没任何影响。
