根据最新版的国家党党章（2016版），国家党的国会党团由当选的本党国会议员组成，党魁由党团产生。所以党魁必须是国会议员。

你这个信息完全是错的，JK加入国家党的时候，党魁是Bill English，2002年输掉后换成Don Brash，Don Brash 2005年还输给了Helen Clark，此时JK还是一个财经事务发言人。Don Brash输了之后还担任了一段时间党魁，到了2006年11月才辞职让位给JK。也就是JK成为党魁之前，担任了四年议员，换了两个党魁才轮到他

请问你这段话的来源是哪里？根据新西兰国会网站提供的信息，John Key首次当选议员是在2002年，Helensville选区，并一直连任至2017年，而他成为国家党党魁是在2006年。

Then they gave him a safe seat in Kumeu. Bill English was the Party leader at that time but was most happy for John key taking over.

Will Christopher Luxon lead NAtional Party? -  It is possible and can be done as by that time, Parliament has dissolved, so it does not need to be a member of Parliament to be an opposition leader.

Simon Bridges is an experienced politician, but is not a businessman. He was a crown prosecutor. In terms of life experience and management, it look like Christopher Luxon is more of a strategist. He is however keeping a low profile, which is the right thing to do to build up his own experience with the grassroots. His humility is showing respect to Simon Bridges who is still an elected party leader.

Overall, you can see that National is united and have quality people in there.

Christopher Luxon现在连议员都不是，不能当党魁，所以本届国家党不可能推他，最多就是他本届当选议员后下届推他。

不得不说, 虽然工党的联盟优先党,和绿党都有一定的退缩. 但胜算还是高于国家党, 尤其是桥哥在的情况下.

她有什么好怕的? 反正她知名度甩了桥哥几条街， 桥哥还在忙着跟 Jami-Lee Ross 互相指控对方贪污，当年她的支持率比现在还低她都当上了首相，现在政府财政盈余那么多，工党只会乱发福利的谣言自然就不攻自破了。这届反对党不行，缺乏像基哥那样有观众缘的领导。

呵呵, 如果国家进入紧急状态，大选可以推迟。constitution act允许这样做。
