Agreed.
There are a lot more opportunities in the financial services sector in Singapore compared to OZ. They also have a very favorable tax system and lower living cost.
Most important of all, Singapore is a much better place for Asians to progress career - you get promoted faster and get decent chances to senior positions as career progresses. These are much harder in Australia, where the Caucasians dominate and you can easily get frustrated because many Aussies bullshit much more than what they do, but still entrench imperative positions.
You'd also fall in love with Singapore for its variety of Asian food, as well as easy and cheap access to travel destinations given its status of a global aviation hub, with numerous budget airlines. |
