A body has been found at a Northland beach this morning believed to be the man who went missing while crab fishing last month.
A member of the public found the man's body at Uretiti Beach about 500 metres south of Tip Rd at 7am.
Police believed it was the 35-year-old man who went missing on November 22.
The man went out in small inflatable dinghy to set some crab pots.
There was a very strong wind blowing offshore and the man's dinghy was blown out to sea, Police said.
They believed the dinghy tipped over and the man fell into the sea.
Members of the missing man's family have been notified, but police wouldn't release the name of the man until he was formally identified.
