I think there are a few points the new arrival need to clarify before making a complaint.
1, B&T usually pay out water rate from the landlord then charge the water usage from the tenant. it is under RTA requirement Landlord. landlord is responsible for the fixed rate part of the water rate. It is Law requirement, not B&T policy.
2, B&T account system is quite clear ,but inflexible. as long as your monthly statement showing they owe you water rate, you can make a claim.
I don`t think if this small issue has anything to do with racism or unfairness, It is simple negligence, proper communication will sort things out. |
