Thanks for your help
Do you think do we need to purchase insurance for our post for overseas sendin ...
If you are sending as international express courier/economy courier, the parcel itself has a standard cover of up to NZ$2000 without paying anything extra.
if you are sending by international air or economy, it only covers up to $250, and you will need to pay $10 for the insurance if the parcel value exceeds $250, it allows you to cover your parcel up to $1500 i think. Please note that if your item is over $250 and you didn't pay for the insurance, they have the right to refuse making claims.
the postage is based on the weight, and if the parcel has gone missing, you need to send a query for investigation, make sure you keep your receipt when you send your parcel, as well as the invoices of the content. once they completed an investigation and nothing is found, they will provide you a form to claim a compensation on your parcel, and you will then provide an invoice of purchase as per declaration you had when you send your parcel.
if the parcel is un-deliverable, you can choose to have the item returned to sender, but you have to pay for the postage. you got to choose this when you send your parcel. |
