NZ post is quite reliable, Ive mailed at least 200 items using Standard Parcel Post over the years and ONLY ONCE the item got lost (Im not a professional seller, Im just selling my used clothes and shoes to sell.... )
You can first ask the buyer to check with her neighbors, maybe it is mailed to a slightly wrong address. Else if you still have the receipt from the Postshop, you can file a complaint form, post office will investigate it, if they are not able to locate the item, they will first send a letter to the receiver, asking her to confirm the fact that she did not receive the parcel, then once the receiver has replied to the postshop. they will issue u a full refund including the postage cost. As far as Im concerned, This applies to all parcel post, all parcel post are insured up to $250 NZD. |
