We offer wedding planning services, events planning, business functioning, flower designing, pre-wedding photoshoot, venue decorations, photography, videography, makeup, wedding dresses, and everything related to weddings.
About the position
We are now seeking for a full-time Photographer. The role will perform a wide variety of photographic responsibilities and services in fulfillment of client requests. Summary of key information is as follows:

• Rate of pay: $30 to $35 per hour.
  
• Hours of work: minimum guaranteed hours of work are 30 hours/week; maximum hours of work are 45
  hours/week.
  
• Overtime rate: at the rate of normal salary for any time worked in addition to an ordinary work week
  
• Location of work: Primary place of work will be at our Henderson office in Auckland and project sites (wedding venue and other event sites) within Auckland region. You should also be ready to travel
  domestically in New Zealand to meet client needs.
  Summary of key responsibilities (including but not limited to)
  
  

• Interview clients to determine their photography coverage requirements
  
• Provide options, advice and assist clients in determining themes
  
• Calculate and present clients with quotes on photography coverage for their wedding or other events.
  
• Set up props and backgrounds to create a setting and ensure that they are properly used and packed after the
  shoot
  
• Prepare lights and flashes to be used with cameras to ensure appropriate subject lighting
  
• Capture special moments on cameras while circulating amongst guests of wedding or other events
  
• Ask and direct guests to pose for photographs or capture candid moments
  
• Use and maintain an extensive range of photographic equipment such as cameras, lenses, lighting, and
  specialist software
  
• Process captured pictures according to processing standards and digitally enhance them for maximum effect
  
• Assist clients in determining the best photographs
  
• Perform market analysis to determine new trends in the industry sector
  
• Other duties as assigned
  Key requirements
  To be successful in this role, you will have:
  
  

• Minimum of 3 years proven work experience in professional photography
  
• Experience in wedding photography and outdoor shooting
  
• Excellent technical and photographic skills
  
• Creative and artistic
  
• Can express the customer's ideas accurately in the lens language
  
• Skills with software such as Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop could basic operation
