Job description: IT Technician Company: Kiwi Computers Ltd, Queen street, Auckland CBD 1. About the role Due to our workload, we are looking to fill a permanent vacancy that will predominantly be based in Auckland CBD. The Technical Support Specialist will be handling customer calls, ordering parts and solving technical problems (Hardware/Software). Primary Responsibilities: • Computer and smartphone repairs (hardware and software) • Ordering replacement parts •  Respond to customer requests and tickets in a timely and accurate manner. 2. About you : • Tertiary level IT Qualification in Computer technician and equivalent knowledge and experience. • Hands-on experience in Hardware and Software.. • A proven track record in effectiveness. • Demonstrated working knowledge in hardware repair (motherboard repair is a bonus) • Working knowledge of Microsoft, Mac OS and hardware components • Use of power and manual precision tools. • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. • Language: Fluent in English and Chinese. • Time management and sense of urgency. • Fast learner and smooth talker. • Passionate about exceptional customer satisfaction. • High standard of documentation skills. • Must already reside in New Zealand with a proper visa to work for any employer. • Clean driver's license, clean criminal record.
