- Position: Community Engagement Advisor
- Hours per week: 15
- Casual part-time role
- Should be able to work on Weekends and weekdays afternoon/ evening. Some weekday morning work may be needed (there will be a roster)
- The role is door-to-door canvassing (advising people of the new service being rolled out by Auckland council)
- No Selling
- Ability to present themselves at various locations of work in West and central Auckland.
- Should have a driver’s license or be able to travel and be at work on time.
- Fluency in English and knowledge at least in other languages is required.
- The role will suit students but others who are willing can apply
Aotearoa Sustainability Group (ASG) is looking for self-motivated Community Engagement Advisors for the REGIONAL FOOD SCRAPS ROLL OUT this year. This is part-time casual work. It requires weekend and evening work. Minimum hours per week to be discussed at the time of the interview.
ASG has been contracted by Auckland council as a community partner to educate our communities on the new services being rolled out.
Role
- Canvas streets in Tāmaki Makaurau (West and Central)
- Ability to travel to different parts of Auckland.
- Engage with community/ households and educate them on the new service being rolled out.
- Keep data of your daily engagement for analysis
- Other responsibilities and duties are to be advised from time to time.
