About Us Calibre + Candor is an independent advertising agency based in New Zealand. Currently we have offices in both Auckland and Christchurch. We are looking for a full-time Digital Operations Lead to join our team in the Auckland office. Our website: https://www.calibrecandor.co.nz/
The Role The Digital Lead is responsible for:
• Delivering digital plans, campaign implementation, optimisation and reporting activities for key clients; and
• Supporting the Head of Media Operations to deliver quality digital outcomes for clients, managing digital operations and client on-boarding; and
• Managing digital specialists to deliver successful business outcomes for clients.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage digital operations and develop digital processes to ensure the delivery of timely and optimal outcomes that meet or exceed agreed client plans.
- Undertake relevant research and planning across digital channels to support client marketing objectives.
- Develop digital media strategies and campaigns.
- Develop structures for campaign tracking, implement tracking and provide insights from tracking.
- Prepare digital media recommendations and produce digital media plans.
- Implement campaigns, trafficking and manage budgets for key clients.
- Implement digital tracking and adserving requirements.
- Liaise with clients, creative agencies, media owners and colleagues to deliver timely and optimal outcomes.
- Define, track, analyse and report on campaign performance metrics. Communicate key insights and recommendations.
- Manage and develop digital specialists.
- Complete financial billing and other administrative duties in a timely and accurate manner.
- Be a thought leader in the digital space, ensuring clients and the wider Calibre + Candor team are abreast of landscape changes and implications.
- Uphold the vision, mission and values of Calibre + Candor.
- Identify opportunities to improve Calibre + Candor processes, solutions and overall business.
- Follow company procedures and policies.
Skills/Competencies - A commercial/business degree is desirable.
- A minimum of 7 years’ experience in digital media is required.
- Experience in managing people is preferred.
- Conversant in the world of digital media and follows latest trends..
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent knowledge of digital media platforms and tools.
- Campaign set up and optimisation: Google Ads, Facebook Ads & Business Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Programmatic (DV360, Verizon etc).
- Report and insight: Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Datastudio.
- Highly analytical; able to identify new opportunities through data analysis and insights.
- Self-motivated and self-directed with independence to carry our responsibilities with minimal direction.
- Assertive. Able to take charge of a situation with the ability to lead, motivate and influence others.
- Collaborative. Works with clients, colleagues and business partners to meet the needs of all stakeholders.
- Manages and coaches digital team.
- Organised. Ability to prioritise and juggle multiple tasks and work to a deadline.
- Extremely detail oriented.
- Inquisitive by nature.
Work Conditions - This is a full-time position based in Parnell, Auckland.
The working hours are 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday with flexibility. - However, from time to time, work beyond these standard hours may be required to deliver on results areas.
- Travel to clients and/or business partners nationally may be required.
