Role Requirements (QS)
You will be expected to perform independently and confidently across all aspects of Quantity Surveying, including feasibility studies, cost plans and estimates, Schedules (Bills) of Quantities, procurement, and pre/post contract administration
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering a range of commercial projects, such as office, retail, health, civic, residential etc

Client facing
Ability to control and monitor a variety of projects concurrently, along with experience of managing significant capital expenditure budgets

Experience / Skills Required
Capacity to problem solve, use initiative and be able to work independently with minimal supervision, and cohesively as part of a team
Strong communications skills (written and verbal) and interaction with colleagues, clients and other consultants
Mentoring experience is preferable
Ability and desire to progress
Excellent management and collaboration skills within a team environment
Professional presentation, punctual, attention to detail and flexible.
Suitable MS Office suite experience.  

Key Responsibilities
Prepare tenders
Prepare trade packages and scope of works
Measuring projects
Letting of contracts, after reviewing subcontract quotations
Negotiation with subcontractors
Managing valuations / variations
Tender Analysis
General contract administration
Attend Site Meetings
Taking meeting minutes
Administer progress claims and payments
Prepare internal cost and project reports
Reporting information to subcontractors
Administer and comply with Head Contract Agreement
Final accounting on completion of contracts
