Take it back to the shop where you purchased it.  if your vacuum is still under the warranty, they should replace or repair it for you. If it is out of the warranty period, you can still order a spare part from where you purchased it. You need the machine model number to order a spare part.

If the machine is too old, has been discontinued, then spare parts maybe no longer available.  You may have to buy a new vacuum cleaner in that case.
