关于口罩最官方的说法
Community use of face masks
25 April 2020
• Physical distancing and basic hygiene measures are the most important way to stop the spread of infections, including SARS-CoV-2, the cause of COVID-19 infection. Basic hygiene measures include:
o hand hygiene – that is, washing hands regularly with soap and water, or cleansing with hand sanitiser
o staying at home if you are sick
o coughing or sneezing into a tissue or the crook of your elbow and then performing hand hygiene
o cleaning hard, frequently touched surfaces regularly.
• As per World Health Organization advice, current evidence does not support the widespread use of face masks by healthy people in the community to protect them from COVID-19 infection.
• If you are healthy and not caring for a person with confirmed or probable COVID-19 infection, we do not currently recommend the general use of face masks.
• If you have symptoms of an acute respiratory infection, the World Health Organization recommends there may be benefit in wearing a medical/surgical face mask to reduce the spread of infection to other people.
• Please telephone Healthline (for free) on 0800 358 5453 or your doctor if you think you have symptoms of COVID-19 (https://www.health.govt.nz/our-w ... eral-public#exposed). If you are suspected of having COVID-19 infection you will be provided and asked to wear a medical/surgical face mask while awaiting assessment by your health professional.
• There are recognised standards (AS/NZS1716) that face masks must meet to be considered appropriate for use in health care and they must be worn correctly and in the appropriate context.
• If a member of the public chooses to purchase and wear a mask, or make their own mask, we ask them to please consider carefully how they use it. There are risks associated with using masks poorly. Please consider how the mask is put on, and taken off, and ensure that it is disposed of safely. More information on safe use of medical/surgical face masks be found at: https://www.who.int/emergencies/ ... nd-how-to-use-masks
• People who are required to wear different types of face masks in their work environment should refer to their workplace health and safety guidance to ensure they are using the correct mask to prevent them from exposure to occupational risks.
