This role is based in a busy suburb in Auckland where you will be responsible for driving the operational performance of a retail store.  We are seeking an experienced shop manager who would like to lead a team. Previous experience with groceries is  required. This position requires wide range of food knowledge, marketing, business analysis with computing skills.

Your role will be:

· Improve profits and achieve the supermarket’s sales target

· Develop business strategies

· Maintain a high level of customer service and deal with complaints, queries, and other customer related issues

· Oversee receipt of orders and stock control

· managing budgets

· preparing promotional materials and displays

·  Maintain inventories and contracts to ensure consistent availability of the required services and supplies

· Monitor trends to determine product mix, stock levels and prices.

· Responsible for  Marketing, Sales promotions and Clearance sales

· Recruiting, training and supervision of employees

· Monitor profitability through spreadsheets and financial statements

· Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations

· Additional shop manager duties as needed
