新西兰国家篮球队Tall Black将参加国际篮球联合会亚洲预选赛。周四6月28日晚7点在Rotorua对战香港队，周日7月1日晚3点在奥克兰对战中国队。活跃亚裔-奥克兰体育为大家带来赛事志愿者机会，让大家感受篮球比赛的气氛，欢迎大家踊跃参加。
The Tall Blacks will play their next two home games in the newly formed FIBA Asian Qualifiers on Thursday June 28 (Rotorua, 7pm tip-off) and Sunday July 1 (Auckland, 3pm tip-off). ActivAsian – Sport Auckland brings several opportunities for our Asian community to be involved in this exciting event. We’re currently seeking expressions of interest for various volunteer roles.
国际篮球联合会简称国际篮联,1932年6月18日在瑞士的日内瓦成立。此简称FIBA来源于法语名称Fédération internationale de basket-ball的单词首字母缩写。它负责制定国际篮球比赛的规定。
The International Basketball Federation, (FIBA), establishedon 18th June 1932 in Geneva, Switzerland, from its French name Fédération internationale de basket-ball, is an association of national organizations which governs international competition in basketball.
国际篮联现有213个协会会员，分属国际篮联承认的非、亚、美、欧和大洋洲5个大洲篮球联合会。
A total of 213 national federations are now members,organized into five zones or "commissions": Africa, Americas, Asia, Europe, and Oceania.
