Preparing to import
Commercial goods are goods intended for use in your business, or for resale. All imported commercial goods must be cleared through Customs by submitting an import entry or Electronic Cargo Information (ECI).

Accompanying your imports
On occasion you may wish to bring in commercial goods as accompanied luggage on a flight into a New Zealand airport.
These goods will still be classed as imported goods, and will be treated the same as goods brought in by other means. You will need to complete an import entry clearance – either before or after you land in New Zealand. Your goods will also be subject to duty, goods and services tax (GST), and any other applicable fees and charges. |
