As the point of pen starts indefinitely twisting,

I am totally mystified with its mystical uncanny way ofmovements.

I promised to write a poem for my precious Lily.

The name of the most immaculate, solemn, kind-hearted soul.

I sit on a bench in the sun besides Rotoroa Lake

And write, I numb and become tree like the rest part of forrest.

I feel my roothairs are absorbing nutrients and water fromearth

And transporting throughout my body, my trunk, and everysingle limbs.

At the moment, I hear you, my counterpart, my dearestcompany, my beloved one.

You must be Tui.

You fly with wings.

You pursue freedom.

You are a word made up with ambitious, adventurous andambiguous.

Your melodious, the most inspiring voice makes me wander.

Then, it gets more and more intense

As if the song of ‘Vitas’ instrumentally plays in a concert;

As if tsunami ride a wave on a roller coaster;

As if flamingo fires up the whole forrest.

My foliage gets dissolved.

My limbs are sheathed in flame.

It becomes ash, incandescent, sinking, ash.

On the spur of the moment, I get interrupted by a mankind.

Oh no,

He is my workmate. It’s time to move onto the next job.
