求助！关于父母移民想在新西兰递交申请，需要双方都来新西兰吗？

如题？需要双方都在新西兰才能在新西兰递申请，还是主申请人在新西兰就可以？
另外移民下来后，父母双方必须多长时间之内就要激活签证护照呢？
求大神指教，万分谢谢

如果递件时, 申请人在新西兰, 那申请可以在新西兰递。
如果申请人在审核期间长期回国 (如数月以上), 可以通知移民局把申请调到所居地最邻近的分局。但这情况下, 有可能会影响/延长申请的审核时间。

另外, 如果父母的居留签证是在新西兰下来的, 就是从下来的那一天已经激活了。
如果父母的居留签证不是在新西兰下来的, 就必须要在下来那一天开始算的一年内第一次到达新西兰才可以激活。

If your residence application was processed by one of our immigration branches outside of New Zealand, your residence status will become activated on the date you first enter New Zealand with your new Residence Visa. Please note that you will have a limited amount of time to activate your residence once your visa is granted...
Resident visa issued to an applicant (who is outside of NZ) is current for travel to New Zealand for 12 months from the date of issue.

非常感谢！还是想问一下，您说的申请人就是主申请人对吗？因为我爸和我妈两人必须要分开过来，国内事情比较多，我妈可以先过来，所以我妈做为主申请人在新西兰，申请也可以递交新西兰移民局对吗？就因为这样所以，如果PR下来后，我妈的签证已经激活，我妈回去，那我爸还必须过来一趟激活护照吗？

对, 我应该说清楚的: 申请人就是主申请人, 即妈妈; 副申请人是爸爸。

如果居留签证 (Resident Visa) 不是在新西兰下来的话, 父母两人都必须要在下来后一年内到达新西兰一次激活签证。
Resident visa issued to an applicant (who is outside of NZ) is current for travel to New Zealand for 12 months from the date of issue.

但是, 以後有没有在新西兰住够两年 (每年184天) 去拿永久居留签证 (Permanent Resident Visa) 的要求, 只要主申请人达到就可以了。副申请人有没有住够, 目前的政策来说, 是没有要求的。
The only requirement for the grant of a permanent resident visa to a non-principal applicant is that the principal applicant must hold a permanent resident visa.
