Two men working at separate primary schools have been granted sweeping name suppression by the courts after being arrested for sex attacks on children
In the latest cases a man employed by a primary school appeared in a district court last month facing charges of assaulting a child under the age of 12.
Meanwhile, a male teacher at a South Auckland primary school appeared in Manukau District Court last week facing a charge that he arranged to meet an 11-year-old girl with sexual intent at the end of April
Parker, 37, was arrested and pleaded guilty to 40 charges of sexual abuse. The Kaitaia District Court did not grant any name suppression, despite Parker working at small rural Pamapuria School. As the case progressed, further victims came forward and he ultimately admitted 74 sex assaults.
