1. The printer has experienced an internal hardware error.

2. Turn the printer off and wait 30 seconds then turn the printer back on again.

3. If a surge protector is being used, remove it and plug the printer directly into the wall.

4. Check the FFC connection between the formatter and the scanner.

5. Try connecting the product to a different power source or surge protector.

6. If the error persists, replace the laser/scanner assembly.
