Two more children have been offered a ride by a stranger on Auckland's North Shore.
Police are trying to find a man in his 40s who's now approached four children in four days in the suburbs of Red Beach and Greenhithe.
Albany Ward councillor Wayne Walker says it's a real concern, but it's reassuring to see none of the children has taken the man up on his offer.
He says schools in the area need to be on guard.
Mr Walker says Red Beach is a safe place, and lots of children choose to walk or ride their bikes to school.
Walker says the man's persistent and he needs to be stopped.
The man is described as Caucasian, in his 40s and has dark curly hair. |
