新的长期短缺可能会做如下更改:

1.One occupation to be removed from the LTSSL on 8th September 2010:
• Architect
2.Three occupations to be added to the LTSSL:
• Ship’s Officer
• Ship’s Master
• Forest Scientist
3,Seven technical changes to be made to the following occupations on the LTSSL:
• Chef
• Ambulance Paramedic (Intermediate Life Support)
• Auditor
• Diesel Motor Mechanic
• Speech Language Therapist
• Conductor (Conductive Education Practitioner)
• Management and Project Management Staff

Auditor: External Auditor: Bachelor degree (Level 7) qualification majoring in accountancy and membership or provisional membership with the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants (NZICA) AND at least one year’s relevant experience Or Internal Auditor: Certified Internal Auditor qualification

Diesel Motor Mechanic: Diesel Motor Mechanic (including Heavy Vehicle Inspector) (321212)

Speech Language Therapist (252712):Bachelor of Speech and Language Therapy OR Masters of Speech and Language Therapy

哦,要求提高不提高貌似还很说不清楚,但是可能会在它们的条件上做出相应的调整比如学历,工作经验等等,这是我的个人理解了......不过有相关工作的几乎是变化不会太大,不用担心的,这个比较肯定倒是真的.....

so lots of EOIs will be removed from the pool! (at least the accounting qualifications)~~shortage qualifications will be selected soon (I guess), and for those who got the bachelor degree of computer are still save lo~~
fortunately I just got selected, otherwise just waste the membership subscription fees!!

要有心理准备，ACCOUNTING政策的变更是迟早的事。现在学会计的人实在是太多了，国际学生一大堆，DOMESTIC就更多了。NZ的经济在目前没有什么大的起色，会计工种严重的供大于求。那么政策的变更就很自然了。我还曾记得2005年时，BOOKKEEPING 政策也是一夜之间说变就变。 所以，一颗红心，两手准备！
