关于recall的东西

因为有了孩子，很关心recall的东西。恩，recall就是产品有点问题，商家会告诉客户们，是什么问题。我认为，应该有权去退这些东西，或者，如果他们有加什么改进的，我们应该可以免费去叫做的。

就好像我以前用得carseat，原来是recall的，后来回到babyfactory里头，去登记，再up date.

Mega Brand magnetic toys

The problem
Magnets in the small flexible parts of the toys can detach. Magnets found by small children can be swallowed or aspirated. If more than one magnet is swallowed, they may create a significant hazard to the digestive system.

What to do
Consumers should stop using the recalled toys immediately and contact Harvey Wholesale Ltd to return the products for a replacement product of equal value.

Evenflo Discovery car seat

The problem
There are concerns the car seat could fail in certain types of collision.
Details
Evenflo Discovery infant seats made between 2005 and 2008. Models recalled in the US are 390, 391, 534 and 552. Only the 390 and 391 models have been sold in New Zealand, but it is possible other models have been brought in privately.
What to do
Evenflo is providing owners with a free extra fastener to keep the seat in place. It will not be available here for 4-6 weeks - in the meantime retailers will take names of those needing one and they will be contacted when they arrive.
The NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration in the US) is urging owners to keep using their car seats while waiting for the new fastener.

Zoggs Trainer Seat - flotation device

The problem
Some trainer seats have been found to have a suspect plastic weld in the seat construction. Under weight pressure this may result in the weld tearing and may cause the seat to fail, resulting in the possibility of the toddler slipping through the seat and into the water.
Details
Zoggs Trainer Seats. Sold since October 2006.
The flotation device consists of an outer inflatable ring, an inner inflatable ring and a plastic seat connected to the inner ring in which the toddler sits, supported in the water by the two rings.
Product Codes:

302212 - Zoggs Trainer Seat - Age 3 to 12 months
• 302213 - Zoggs Trainer Seat - Age 12 to 18 months

Batch Numbers: 301J, 302D and 112L
Batch numbers are to be found on the bottom panel of the pack, and on the flotation device itself.
What to do
Do not use the seat.
