Job SummaryAs a result of business growth and client expansion, we are seeking an Assistant Account Manager to join our team at Nistech. This role is essential in supporting our account management operations and ensuring service/product delivery to our clients. You will work closely with the Account Manager and technical/warehouse teams to maintain client relationships, coordinate service delivery, and support sales activities for our organization. Job DescriptionKey Information- Minimum guaranteed hours of work: 35 hours per week
- Maximum hours of work: 37.5 hours per week
- Location of work: Nistech office in Manukau, Auckland, with occasional client visits within Auckland region
Key ResponsibilitiesIncluding but not limited to: Client Relationship Management: - Support the Account Manager in maintaining and developing relationships with existing clients and distributors
- Serve as primary point of contact for day-to-day client inquiries and requests
- Schedule and coordinate client meetings, site visits, and training sessions
- Monitor client satisfaction and address concerns or issues
Sales & Administrative Support: - Assist in preparing quotations, proposals, and sales presentations
- Process sales orders, contracts, and invoices accurately and efficiently
- Maintain and update the CRM database with client information, interactions, and opportunities
- Coordinate product demonstrations and arrange technical support as needed
- Track sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for management
Service Coordination: - Coordinate product delivery, installation schedules, and after-sales support
- Liaise with technical teams to ensure timely resolution of client technical issues
- Arrange and schedule training sessions for clients on diagnostic equipment usage
- Follow up on service requests and ensure completion within agreed timeframes
Business Development Support: - Assist in identifying potential new business opportunities within existing accounts
- Support market research activities and competitor analysis
- Help organize and coordinate participation in industry events and trade shows
- Maintain awareness of product updates and promotional campaigns
Documentation & Reporting: - Maintain accurate records of client communications, orders, and service history
- Prepare monthly account activity reports and forecasts
- Ensure all business expenditure is recorded and managed according to company policies
- Assist in preparing business analysis and performance reviews
General Support: - Provide administrative support to the Account Manager as required
- Assist with general office duties and team coordination
- Other tasks as assigned by management
Key RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will have: Essential Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in account management, customer service, or sales support role (automotive industry experience is a plus)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with ERP systems or willingness to learn
