Essential Skills and Experience:

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create detailed spreadsheets and reports
• Experience using MYOB and Experience with Xero (an advantage)
• Sound knowledge and practical application of New Zealand taxation
• Self-motivation, strong work ethic, and the ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
  

As the successful applicant you will have:

• High standards and value accuracy and strong attention to detail
• the ability to work with the busy team and offer them the support across the financial activities which include reporting, meeting legislative end of year compliance, GST, supporting a busy accounting administrative team and providing support to the wider organisation across a breadth of financial reconciliations and reporting needs.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English and Chinese (mandarin) and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset, the ability to self-manage and act decisively to solve problems
• Strong analytical and investigative skills as well as problem solving aptitude
• The ability to be a positive team player with drive to further your career and willingness to take accountability for your own work and development
• NZ Bachelor Degree in Accounting
• Reliable, professional and enthusiastic
