Vacancy Available: Quality Assistant (Permanent Full-time)

We are a dietary supplement contract manufacturer based in Browns Bay, Auckland. We contract manufacture softgel capsules, tablets, hard gel capsules, liquids and powders.

We are looking for  Quality Assistant, permanent full-time (30-40 hours a week), to join our Quality Team. Start date: September 2024 (negotiable).

As a Quality Assistant, you will be responsible for:

- Completing quality testing of the incoming raw materials, finished products

- Carry out IPQC (in-process Quality Check) during production

- Environmental monitoring

- Assist QA to with raw material and finished good lab testing

- Assist QA to prepare for audits (RMP and GMP)

- Assist QA to prepare quality-related documents as per requested

- Assist QA to organise staff training

- Other tasks not listed here as per requested from time to time

For this role, you’ll need to:

●      have good communication skills, able to COMMUNICATE IN ENGLISH effectively (IELTS band score 7 and above)

●      hold a food science (or relevant eg. food tech, chemistry engineering, etc.) degree from a university where English is the primary language of instruction.

●      experience in beverage, food, or pharmaceutical manufacturing in the quality department is an advantage but not a must. Fresh graduate from food science (or related background) can be considered.

●      be analytically minded

●      be pro-active and motivated

●      be a team player

●      have reasonable computer skills: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Power Point

●      willing to learn

●      willing to take new challenges

●      work in face pace and able to deal with stress

●      willing to work outside normal working hours (night/weekend shift), occasionally
