We’re looking for a motivated Junior Quantity Surveyor to join a growing property developer team in Auckland. This is an excellent opportunity to build your skills, learn from senior members and grow your career within a business that values initiative, teamwork, and professional development.
What you’ll be doing l Site based, take instructions from senior members, report to project manager. l Assist senior team member's with project cost estimating in terms of take-offs, quantity assessments, and cost estimates l Support acquire and assess quotations, variations, and progress claims under the Construction Contracts Act l Help job setup, enter invoicing and progress claims. l Assist prepare Draw Down Report and documents. l Assist submit applications such as RC, BC, CCC, EPA, Titling. Prepare documents, communicate with external parties and follow up processing procedures. l Liaise with project manager and other internal senior members for on site administration works. l Assist senior members on project management work.
What we’re looking for l Having a qualification in construction or QS l Understanding of construction drawings and estimating principles l Strong numeracy, accuracy, and Excel proficiency l Bilingual in both English and Chinese l Previous experience in QS is preferred l Reliable, organised, and eager to learn within a supportive team l Clear communicator with a proactive, can-do attitude l Attention to details and ethical with integrity l With valid visa to work in NZ
