What you’ll be doing
1. Multiple bank reconciliations 2. Handle day-to-day accounting tasks, including fortnightly payroll, assets registered maintenance and general ledger entries. 3. Account Receivable duties, including but not limited to: - Assist Sales team to process invoices. - Credit control/Debt collection for NZ and overseas - Responding to billing/customer queries - Evaluating new credit application requests and approving as appropriate 4. Assist with Accounts Payable duties, including but not limited to: - Supplier liaison - Staff expenses e.g. credit card receipts, expense claims 5. Processing bank payments 6. Assist with stock management 7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency. 8. Assist with other administrative and operational tasks as required.
What you’ll bring
- 2 or more years relevant experience in a similar or related finance role.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and computer literacy in other Microsoft applications
- Must be fluent in English and Mandarin
- A high standard of work, demonstrating attention to detail and perseverance.
- Outstanding interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Be a proactive team player - yet thrive on autonomy and showing initiative
