TheRole:

Weare currently seeking an Freight handler looking to be part of a positive andfriendly team, and to be responsible for the ongoing Auckland operations withinthe company. This individual will be motivated, trustworthy and reliable whocan operate at times autonomously in a warehouse & courier environment,this is a hands on warehouse role and there is limited office work.

Attentionto detail is imperative as this role incorporates checking Dangerous Goodsconsignments for Road transport which are dispatched to nationalcustomers.  As the processing takes place within a busy courier warehouseenvironment, time is an important factor and must be managed accordingly.  

Hoursof work are Monday to Friday; between 11:00am - 7:30pm.

Dutiesinclude, but not limited to:

• Operating forklift (Counterbalance)
  
• Carrying out daily safety checks
  
• Loading and unloading unit load devices within a busy     courier environment.
  
• Stock replenishment of consumable items.
  
• Stock management and additional general warehouse     duties as required including stocktaking and general housekeeping
  
• Completing and checking of documentation, labelling,     packaging for Dangerous Goods packages for Road transport. (Full training     provided).
  
• Ensuring SLA (Service Level Agreements) are met in line     with our contracting services.
  
• At times, be able to operate autonomously in a busy     warehouse environment.
  

Successfulcandidates should have the following:

• Current forklift licence (essential to this role)
  
• Current full drivers licence (essential to this role)
  
• Health and Safety awareness
  
• Good communication skills - both verbal and written
  
• Strong numeracy and computer literacy (Competent on     both Excel & Word)
  
• Proven level of care and attention to detail
  
• Strive for quality and be customer-centric
  
• Motivated, reliable, and physically fit (can lift up to     25kg)
•
