Qualifications & experience - A bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject or a minimum of 5 years work experience in the finance industry (preferably in China or Hong Kong and New Zealand) and an understanding of business culture in these markets.
- Proven connections with offshore individual clients or corporate company investors.
- Ability to commit to traveling as required.
- Proficiency in written and verbal Mandarin will be a bonus.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Responsible for planning and development of company’s new business development strategies;
- Responsible for implementation of the strategies to actively promote company’s products and services;
- Responsible for planning and budgeting of new business development and work with financial department to establish a forecasted turnover;
- Responsible for researching organizations and individuals stakeholders to find new opportunities;
- Responsible for liaising and attending industry conferences, seminars and events.
- Maintain and develop company distribution channels in China to maximize sales;
- Build and expand the business relations with our customers, distributors, investors and general public both in New Zealand and China;
- Responsible for attracting and invite external investments to grow the business.
