谁来一起研究一下这里的HEALTH INSURANCE - ACCURO vs Southern Cross

老爸老妈上年纪了，之前一直买的ACCURO的HEALTH INSURANCE,约五千刀二个人。
最近一年的保费涨了很多,不能忍,于是开始SHOP AROUND,谁知不看不知道,一看吓一跳, 以为ACCURO算是便宜的,之前也是听论坛里的人推荐, 说是医疗保险内部系统自己订的HEALTH INSURANCE,性价比比较高.
我当时买的时候也没有细看,只是大概比较了一下,好象是比SOUTHERN CROSS便宜一点,于是就买了.
现在静下来比较两家,发现是SC便宜很多, 客服也好很多.
ACCURO的回信极慢, 错误百出, 给我的QUOTE漏洞百出,对他们的SERVICE真的不放心.

先来比较一下PLAN, 我选的是比较全面的COVER

ACCURO的SMART CARE,如果不加SPECIALIST PLAN,就只相当于SC 的WELLBEING STARTER - 这是它家最基础的一款
只包CANCER和非常有限的手术,但是它不包以下

An entry-level plan designed to cover those big concernslike cancer and cardiac surgery. This plan does not cover healthcare servic es for gynaecology, urology andorthopaedics (restricted specialties) unless directlyrequired for the treatment of cancer.
就是说, 和妇科,泌尿科及骨科相关的手术,除非是和癌症相关的治疗,否则它家是不包的!

但是要怎么理解这个EXCLUSION呢? 到底这是什么意思?

至于什么才是"Gynaecology， UROLOGY AND ORTHOPAEDICS"呢，SC也给出了说明

”Gynaecology means the medical specialty dealing with the female reproductive systems (ie cervix, uterus, fallopian tubes, ovaries, labia and vagina), excluding for the purpose of this policy, breasts.“


"Orthopaedics means the medical speciality dealing with the musculoskeletal system (ie the skeleton, muscles, cartilage, tendons, ligaments, joints, and other connective tissue that supports and binds tissues and organs together)."


"Urology means the medical specialty dealing with the male and female urinary tract system (ie kidneys, adrenal glands, ureters, urinary bladder, and urethra) and the male reproductive organs (ie testes, epididymis, vas deferens, seminal vesicles, prostate and penis)."


但是在我看来，妇科病 Gynaecology以上的解释中，一般人的CERVIX宫颈也不会突然莫名其妙的坏掉，如果病变那肯定是宫颈癌之类，那既然是癌，它就应该被归类于CANCER ，这不就意味着其实WELLBEING STARTER会理赔之些？

所以其实WELLBEING STARTER就够用了吗？还是说必须要用WELLBEING ONE -- 这是个没有限制的所有手术，CANCER都包括。

不知道有没有人有过研究？
你们买健康保险的时候，都清条款，尤其是EXCLUSION吗？？

Wellbeing One 是没有specialist 的吧，我记得是TWO里边的

你的SPECIALIST指的是什么?
ONE VS TWO唯一的不同就是CLAIM的时间而已, 一个是6 MONTH,一个是ANY TIME

One的specialist 是手术什么的前后才能用，Two的是不舒服就能去去，你可以找个保险专家咨询一下。 我是two的，把specialist 当GP用
