邻居家修fence是否我该掏钱[图]

如图所示，1/62, 2/62, 60B, 60A共同share driveway (绿色线条)

现在1/62和2/62 希望修fence (粉色线条), 然后要求4户一起分，我是60A，离这个fence 也太远了，也得掏钱吗？

adjoining occupiers means the occupiers of the lands on either side of a common boundary or a common fence court

9 Adjoining occupiers to share cost of fencing

Subject to the provisions of this Act, and to any order of the court made under this Act, the occupiers of adjoining lands not divided by an adequate fence are liable to contribute in equal proportions to work on a fence.

You need to put this in writing to declare your decision. Otherwise it is being considered that you accept your neighbour's proposal and will pay for the cost.

I don't know.
I don't think your neighbor will go to court to ask the money. The money is not that much. If I do it myself, the cost for brand new material fence, post is only at most nzd 1k.
I got similar situation before and the insurance company only willing to pay half the cost of the commercial company's quote due to the damage done by the wind and I did not bother to ask my four neighbors for sharing the cost. Too much trouble for me. We did ourselves using the insurance company's payment and I did not pay extra for the rebuild.

fence应该不用，因为你share的是路不是fence,没有fence不妨碍你开车回家，如果是driveway应该要

The reason for that is you want commercial company/others to do the job. The labor cost in nz is very dear. Maybe the fence is bit luxury and long too. You can do it yourself and cut the cost quite a lot. My two neighbours repair the fence themselves and I guess the cost is very low.
