Sales Support Officer
Synlait Milk
One of New Zealand’s fastest growing companies, Synlait Milk is an innovative milk processing business with a new and growing state-of-the-art milk processing facility. We have just listed on the NZSX and are located 25 minutes north of Ashburton and 15 minutes south of Rolleston. We offer panoramic views of the Canterbury Plains and Southern Alps from our new and modern premises. Synlait Milk produces a range of milk powder and nutritional products primarily for export through a number of distribution channels. Our added-value products are becoming increasingly popular as consumers look to meet their health and lifestyle requirements.
We are looking for a Sales Support Officer to join our Nutritionals team to provide prompt, efficient and accurate customer service and administration support to the Nutritionals Business Development Managers. You will manage a number of key sales functions for the smooth execution of all nutritional orders, with an emphasis on providing clear stock guidance, entering data into the demand planner and managing the customer complaint process.
You will be highly organised, demonstrate a keen attention to detail and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to build productive relationships with customers, supply chain partners and staff is essential to ensure the smooth flow of products through our supply chain to our customers. You will preferably hold a relevant tertiary qualification, thrive on working in an entrepreneurial/high change environment and be experienced in the international import/export/logistics industry. Due to the nature of our customer base, fluency in Mandarin would be an advantage.
