You may have heard of a voluntary recall of some Angelcare monitors announced in the USA and Canada.

This recall does not affect any Angelcare products bought or sold from Australian or New Zealand retailers and is specific to American and Canadian units only.

Although, the voluntary recall does not affect any Angelcare products sold in Australia or New Zealand, customers wishing to obtain a free cord cover can request one by emailing angelcare@childsplay.co.nz with your name, address, phone number and place of purchase.

If you have any concerns, please feel free to call the office on 09-921-6580 during business hours.

Australian and New Zealand customers who purchased Angelcare monitors overseas are advised to contact the retailer through whom the purchase was made.



Please do not be concerned as a correctly installed monitor poses no hazard to your baby!

We do, however, fully understand that you are concerned about the safety of your baby so it is important that all cords are placed out of reach of your baby. Please ensure that:

1. The nursery unit is at least 3 feet (1 metre) away from your baby’s cot

2. The sensor pad cord is kept well out of reach of your baby, wrapped around the leg of your baby’s cot and secured with cable ties

3. Please refer to your instruction manual for more detailed information on how to set-up your monitor correctly
