首先要填写New Zealand passport Application Form,一定记得填'Consent for Passport for Child Under the Age of 16'.如果宝宝是在新西兰出生的话，就不需要提供身份证明了。需要找一个人为宝宝做identity witness，这个人需要认识宝宝至少12个月，如果宝宝不满12个月，则要从宝宝出生时就认识宝宝的人做这个identity witness 。这个人不能是你的家人和与你同地址的人。
这个人需要：Fill in the Proof of Identity page in their own handwriting; and Write the full name of the person applying for the passport on the back of one of the photos, write the date and sign their own name on the back of the same photo.
需要交2张照片。
普通申请一般10个工作日就好了。

另外建议 如果离办理护照的地方住的不远， 最好不要drop off box, 还是给counter的工作人员检查一下比较妥当，不然被打回来，大概就要再多10个working days
