今年学校ASA的OFFICER竞争可谓是激烈无比,
首先是几个KIWI组成的"在野"党, 他们竞争所有今年"执政"党明年竞选的TITLE席位.
都展开了激烈的竞争.
关于"在野"党的消息由于都是从"执政"党处得知，并不完整和详细, 所以我也没有更多的资料好介绍, 以后如果有，我会继续补充.
这儿说说今年的ASA副主席BRAD, 明年将争取主席的位置.
今年他和MICHAEL(主席)都对华人和我们学生会有了很大的关注,
他们先后几次向我们表示看到了华人的力量和团结, 这在以前是没有的.
也努力帮忙我们, 在很多活动中尽力的配合我们, 使得华人的地位进一步上升.
同时学校今年对华人和学生会的支持也达到新高, 在很多活动和项目上得到了沟通和合作,
让我们MASSEY的华人和学子在所有大学华人学生中的地位也步步攀升.
我相信如果明年BRAD能继续执政,当上主席对我们的华人和学生会的发展和生存都是有很的帮助.
这儿附带上他发给各个CLUB负责人的信,大家有时间可以读读, 也可以反馈意见,你们的想法和意见我都会转发给他.
Dear Club Presidents,
Firstly, for those of you who don't know me I am Brad Heap, the current Vice-President of the Albany Students' Association and a candidate for President in 2008.
I am writing to you requesting support from both you and your club in electing me as the next President of the ASA.
I believe that clubs are vital to student life on campus. And while we do not have many clubs at Albany I do believe that the clubs that we do have play an important role in both the ASA and the University in general.
I see 2008 as a vital year for both students and students' associations. At the end of next year there will be a general election deciding the government for the next three years. With student debt set to rise to over ten billion dollars next year I believe that it is extremely important to ensure that tertiary students' welfare is a vital part of the election agenda.
I have been involved with the ASA now for three years. I started with writing articles for Satellite in 2005. In 2006 I was elected onto the Student Executive as the Education Officer, and this year I have served as the Vice-President. I have also been active in clubs, being a member of the Student Life club since my first week at Massey Albany in 2005, and in 2006 I was President of both the Albany Tramping Club and the Albany Snow Sports Club.
I believe that my experience with the ASA over the past few years makes me the best candidate for the role of President. If elected, because of my experience, I have a high chance of being the student representative on the Massey University Council. The University Council meets once a month in Palmerston North and is the body that overseas all of Massey, not just Albany. Being able to represent Albany at the council level would ensure that the Albany Campus has a stronger voice and we can see more growth and development on this campus.
Thanks for taking time to read this and please get out their a vote in the ASA Elections and encourage your club members to as well. Polling occurs from 10am Monday 8th October until 4pm Wednesday 10th October, there will be polling booths in various buildings around campus and, for the first time, on the web at www.asa.ac.nz

说完BRAD, 再提一下REUBEN竞选明年的SOCIAL REP也是不错的人选,因为在今年的活动中也努力的帮助我们, 希望明年我们能从其处得到更多的援助.
特别值得一提的是今年的ASIAN CULTURE REP, 十分激烈, 在报名最后的几天, 报名人数竟然破天荒有三个人, 而且还是女生, 对比今年就JUSTIN一人, 和前几年的空缺, 今年华人的力量和积极性尤其突出(特别是女生), RAIN在另外一个贴子中已经把她们三个人的介绍都发了出来, 因为她们三个人都先后联系过了我, 而且校方也专门联系了我讨论相关的人选并且希望我能给出一点自己的意见.
首先我觉得三个女孩能站出来都是不容易,希望大家都能对其的勇气给予支持和鼓励, 好样的, 为你们三个感到骄傲.
第二, 三个女生, 除了杨杨是之前就在学生会帮忙很多，我比较了解外,对另外两个女生的了解都保持在一次见面和几十分钟的谈话中, 对其人的性格并不是很了解,如果下面的朋友对GRACE和SHIRELY比较了解的欢迎踊跃发言成为她们的支持者. 这儿就杨杨发表一下个人的看法, 她在很多活动中都很积极, 对人也非常热心, 做活动也很有想法, 处理事情也比较细心, 是一个不错的女孩, 欠缺的是处理事情的经验上和为人处事的方法上, 不过相信其热心的品质及好问的精神能补足其欠缺. 加油. 下周周四开会GRACE也会来学生会的例会上做个简要的说明和自我介绍, 大家也可以来提问和认识.
第三, 无论最后的结果如何, 相信三个女孩都能成为朋友, 你们都是华人中的佼佼者, 通过此次活动也让大家认识你, 了解你, 谢谢你们的付出和努力.
最后说下, 以上言论纯属个人意见, 不代表任何组织社团, 大家可以有自己的看法和意见，畅所欲言.
希望通过此次选举，大家能多说身边的事情, 学校的事情, 和与大家切身利益有关的事情, 才不枉费我们的初宗.
