Join Our Team: Project Management Team Member


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Management Team Member to join our team in a client-side project management role. You will play a key part in ensuring the successful delivery of projects, working closely with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve project goals. If you thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment, we’d love to hear from you!


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist and support the Project Manager in executing key tasks and strategies.

  • Define project objectives, scope, roles, and responsibilities to ensure alignment and clarity.

  • Manage resource allocation and availability for internal teams and third-party collaborators.

  • Develop and maintain project budgets, tracking costs to ensure projects are delivered on budget.

  • Create detailed project plans, scheduling milestones, workstreams, and key activities.

  • Ensure the project is delivered on time and in line with the approved plan.

  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the project team and stakeholders.

  • Manage and adapt to changes in project scope, schedules, and budgets as needed.

  • Identify and mitigate potential risks to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Foster strong relationships and maintain effective communication with clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.

  • Coordinate design-related matters, oversee design and consent progress, and maintain thorough documentation.

  • Perform other tasks as required by the employer to support the team and project success.


Requirements:
  • Location: Auckland CBD and multiple construction sites.

  • A relevant degree (e.g., engineering, construction management, project management, architecture, or a related field) is preferred.

  • Prior experience in project management or a related field is an advantage, particularly in client-side roles.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with clients, consultants, and contractors.

  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive and adaptable approach to challenges.

  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies is a plus.
