Assistant Accountant
Aboutthe company: ICAR has a history of over 10 years in NZ dealership industry andwe currently have two branches over Auckland. Nowwe are looking for a full-time Assistant Accountant to support growing business needs.
Daily responsibilities cover:
Accounting Tasks
v Inventory recognitionin Xero to account for all the costs associated with the stock vehicle. v Reconcile the supplier’s statement each month and investigatediscrepancies / abnormal spending. Account for the expenditure incurred andallocate them in the stock management system. v Reconcile invoices against the payment and identify discrepanciesif any. v Perform GST return on a timely and accurate manner. v Work with CA on preparing the company’s financial accounts. v Other tasks that are assignedby the supervisor.
Finance Tasks
v Assess the customer’ssituation and gather the information required for finance application. v Address the customer’s query regarding repayment / interest rate/ details on the finance. v Submit the finance case to suitable finance companies. v Work closely with thecustomer and finance company to get the finance applications approved.
Prefer candidates with a degree in finance andaccounting. Integrity, Fluency in English and accountability are essential.Passionate about accounting and finance work. Interested in the car dealershipindustry. Down to earth and hardworking. All candidates must have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
