A vacancy exists for an internal auditor at our Stratford Plant. Reporting to the Technical Manager the successful applicant will lead the plant internal verification ensuring systems are working correctly to meet regulatory, company standards and customer requirements.

This is a fantastic role for someone wanting to develop either down the technical career or move into an operations-based role due to plant exposure gained in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct internal audits ensuring auditing schedule's are met

· Maintain company documentation and supporting systems.

· Develop strong working relationships with Production team and MPI .

· Supports external auditors by coordinating information requirements

. Production planning support duties

. Various other duties to support the management team.

Key Skills and Experience:

· Experience in quality system and audit procedures.

· Previous experience in the Meat Industry including knowledge of MPI, HACCP, RMP, and Food Safety requirements.

· Writing and reporting skills, with the ability to write clearly, succinctly and correctly.

· Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced multitasking environment

· Confidence in using the Microsoft Suite
