The team there is very passionate about what they are doing and they are well-resourced in the industry as well.  We are looking for a Senior QA officer to take part in the day-to-day quality assurance activities and provide technical supports. The role assists the R&D and Compliance Manager with compliance duties.


Qualifications & experience

• Tertiary qualified in relevant areas
• Solid and strong QA experience in a similar role in the food or dairy industry (to an extent where you are able to work as the standalone QA person)
• Sound technical knowledge to provide support to the team;
• Proven experience in implementing, auditing, and training GMP and HACCP
• Strong team player but not afraid to push back
• Self-starter and willing to go beyond the role
• Effective and professional communicator

Tasks & responsibilities

• Prepare documents such as SOPs, specifications, batch documents, and validation protocols and so on, to ensure compliance with national and international regulatory requirements;
• Liaison with QC and third party laboratory for material and product testing, and review results to ensure compliance to market access requirements;
• -Raise EDs for export animal product;
• Conduct internal surveillance and audits, raise non-conformance and implement CAPA where necessary, follow up for closure;
• -With availability to carry out on-line start-up and in-process check;
• -Assist with customer complaint investigations;
• -Contribute to continuous improvement.
