Randy is a cute and well-behaved 11 year old German Shepherd x Corgi mix
About a month ago we noticed that Randy's belly was suddenly much bigger, and the veterinarian who took him to the vet said it was probably just fat and didn't notice any problems. But after a week, he started to have diarrhea, blood * vomiting. We sent him to the emergency department as soon as we found it that night, but the doctor in the emergency department said that the situation was a bit serious, and it was strongly recommended to send it to a specialist hospital for laboratory tests the next day. It was found that there was a large mass in the spleen. It could be cancer, and doctors recommend that tumors like this be removed as soon as possible, because these tumors are prone to bleeding or splitting, which could lead to Randy's death. Later, after an ultrasound,it was found that Randy had ascites in his stomach and a very low level of albumin. It's almost certain that its gut isn't processing the food properly, absorbing the protein the liver needs to make the required amount of albumin, so doctors don' t think now is the best time for surgery.

And it's also very likely to have bowel disease, such as inflammatory bowel disease or a diffuse tumor called small cell lymphoma, that won't get better unless we diagnose it and treat it precisely. So far, Randy has been ill with diarrhea for almost a month and a half. The doctor suggested us to euthanize him, but he works hard to live every day. Every day, he will stand in front of the door to greet us after get off work. He has not given up on himself . How can we give up on him? .
We've paid nearly $6000 for hospitalization and diagnosis so far, and doctors say the situation will require more intensive diagnosis and surgery as soon as possible to save him, but such a plan may cost another 8— 15k may be more, and the hospital has no way to give a clear amount, which is undoubtedly an astronomical amount for us. Next, I want to help Randy transfuse plasma as much as possible, increase the albumin level so that his stomach can absorb nutrients normally, so as to improve the situation of diarrhea, and also plan the date of the operation as soon as possible.
